FAQs

  • I am skilled and experienced at handling many complications both during pregnancy as well as labor, birth, and postpartum. If a complication arises during the pregnancy that is something I cannot handle I have physicians I can consult with and specialists that you can see that will help us navigate any situation. I also carry the equipment necessary to handle a variety of complications during birth. If something should occur that is beyond my skill set or expertise we go to the hospital and the hospital staff takes over. I go with you to the hospital and stay with you until the baby is born and everyone is settled and ready for me to go.

  • I strongly encourage your partner to be a big part of the entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum process. Children are welcomed and supported depending on their age, but it is imperative that they have a support person just for them during the birth itself. You are welcome to have extended family and friends attend your birth as is appropriate for you. It is important to remember that sometimes having a lot of people at the birth can be distracting and sometimes distractions make it difficult for you to deal with labor unless the people attending are calm and are there for you and not as spectators.

  • Yes. I accept payments throughout the pregnancy and ask that at least the minimum fee be reached a month before the birth. I take cash, checks, credit cards, money orders, Venmo and Zelle.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call the office and speak to me or leave a message, and I will call you back.
